Ray Titiryn
- Saxophone, Guitar, Lead Vocals: Ray was born in a small-town of Alberta with a saxophone in his
mouth! Well almost. His Dad introduced him to the sweet sounds of the alto saxophone at the age of ten and he hasn't
stopped playing since. He has been entertaining in various musical groups since the age of 13. Thus, he draws his inspiration
from a variety of genres including Old Time, Swing, Country, Rhythm & Blues and Rock & Roll while performing
in the United States and Europe as well as in his native land. Although alto and tenor saxophone are his first instruments, he occasionally contributes with the
guitar or keyboards. Having worked together with Larry Guthrie, it was natural for them to use their studio experience (both
have home recording studios) to create background tracks for their presentation as a duo. Their collaboration results in fine
collage of old favorites especially tailored for reminiscing and dancing. Ray also enjoys writing and recording
in his home studio where he has also produced several albums/CDs for local musical groups.

Larry Guthrie,
Lead Vocals & Keyboards: Larry started playing the organ at the age of 8. His first group, “The
Swinging Young Ones”, won the Battle of The Bands in Edmonton when he was 13 and opened for “The Who”, “Herman’s
Hermits”, and “The Blues Magoo’s” concerts. “The Who” were so impressed with the young
musicians, they requested the group return as the warm up act on their next tour through Edmonton in 1969. He
went on to play with popular local groups “Colored Rain” and “Franklin Stove” then toured throughout
the mid-western United States with various groups, ending up in Seattle with “West Coast Rhythm”. Eventually
Larry returned to Edmonton to start a business with his brother and continued to play with groups such as the urban cowboy
group “The Clearwater Band”. In 1989, “The Nomads” re-formed
with Larry as lead vocalist and keyboard player on classic 50’s and 60’s Rock & Roll and Rhythm
& Blues . While playing with this popular 8-piece band, Larry enjoyed some of his most memorable
performing experiences performing to sold-out houses with the Calgary and Edmonton Symphony Orchestras. Larry’s
style has been inspired by such R&B greats as Ray Charles, Smoky Robinson, Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels, Lou Rawles
and rock legends The Beatles and Jerry Lee Lewis. Since retiring from his business in 2001 Larry created "elGee
Productions", providing recording and production services for The Larados as well as other musicians and groups. Larry
has produced 4 complete albums and is currently working on a 5th album as well as the upcoming album for The Larados.
